Good news...AND...what this poll doesn’t state is the enthusiasm gap...meaning Obama should also see lower turnout among those who don’t want to vote republican, but refuse to vote for Zero....
This is shocking. Liberals have told us that Republicans are evil, because of the war on women, war on (fill in the blank), failure to celebrate diversity, tax cuts for the wealthy, and any number of other crimes.
To the liberals, any differences on policy positions is tantamount to hatred and cruelty and malice.
Now, considering too that Obama is so wonderful, how can he fix something in four years which took eight years of Bush to mess up, etc. how could anyone support Romney? These stats can’t be right, per the liberals. How could Obama voters from 2008 abandon him?????
“....5% of McCain voters have switched to Obama...”
I call BS on this.
Nobody can name a single demographic that Obama will see increased support from in 2012.
Among our acquaintances, those we suspect of voting for BO in ‘08 are as quiet as stones. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the number of Democrat voters is down considerably this election.
“You didn’t build that”

At this point in history, anyone who casts a vote for Obama can only be considered an irreversible Bonehead.
There are only two groups who fall into this category: those who votes strictly on the basis of race and those who are so busy sucking away at the government teat that they are lost to reason and even the slightest variety of patriotism.
RE: At this point in history, anyone who casts a vote for Obama can only be considered an irreversible Bonehead.
Then shouldn’t we be concerned that close to half of Americans fit that description?
so... he got 53%, but only 48% admit voting for him? add THAT to the 9% defectors.
We've been getting our ears burnt off.
It's amazing to hear Black and Jewish acquaintances cursing BO to the skies!
“Then shouldnt we be concerned that close to half of Americans fit that description?”
Absolutely.
On the other hand, it may cast some light on the situation when we pause to consider that as many people on the planet have IQs of under one hundred as as have IQs over one hundred; a sobering thought.

I’m pretty sure that that comments is definitely...RACIST.
On a serious note...I think looking at all of the available data, this election, as of today...is very close and if votes were cast today, it would in fact come down to 3 or 4 states.
And obama might well win.
Hopefully he will have a bad September/October.
RE: pause to consider that as many people on the planet have IQs of under one hundred as as have IQs over one hundred; a sobering thought.
I hasten to remind you that Obama gets a lot of his support from COLLEGE STUDENTS and COLLEGE PROFESSORS, many from Ivy League schools.
Go figure.
Just goes to show that High IQ and WISDOM are not necessarily correlated.
RE: it would in fact come down to 3 or 4 states.
Ohio and Florida are the two big swings states. What are the other two on your mind?
“Im pretty sure that that comments is definitely...RACIST.”
No, no - not at all. I would never even suggest that Black people, or any other racial or ethnic group, vote en bloc.
On the other hand, if the shoes fits...
Excellent point; however, I would suggest that most of those you cite are voting strictly on the basis of race, rather than of platform.
Indeed, Obama has no platform that can be detected by even painstaking examination.
And no, “Destroying the United States of America” is not a platform.
