Reid's a damn liar. He made up the claim and since he repeated it on the Senate Floor he should be expelled from the Senate for attempting to influence the election with lies in the People's Chamber.

I believe Pelosi is trying to hide behind "It's a fact that someone told him" as opposed to "Someone told him this fact".

Frankly, I doubt it's a fact that someone told him unless he typed it out on a slip of paper to give to a staffer who he then had call him from the next room.

Greg Garrison pointed out this am on his show that the first of each month brings out a new outrageous allegation.

So the MSM can talk about something other than the unemployment report.

What Romney needs to do is completely ignore Harry Reid, and say he is doing so because he is focusing on the American people and how the current President is not helping them. He can also mention it’s interesting that President Obama hasn’t thought this was important enough of a matter to speak to and so Romney is going to focus on the important stuff because what Harry Reid thinks is of little consequence to him.

Just my two cents

Romney said. "I don't know who gave him this line of reasoning, whether it came from the White House or the DNC

It came straight from Jarrett, Axelrod and Obama himself. Bet the ranch!

RE: Romney calls on Reid to reveal source as fact-check sites challenge tax claim

In the meantime, Romney should also call for Obama to UNSEAL his college records, even as Romney shows his own college records. GO ON THE OFFENSIVE MAN.

Sue him for libel and make him produce his “source”.

WOW! Never thought of that. Has Rush or Sean or anyone mentioned this? What has to be done to make this happen?

This is already backfiring on Reid/Democrats/0bama. How sweet. They will all end up looking like the hysterical, lying, marxist fools that they are.

More and more people are seeing past the veneer of Democratic politics, and how utterly slimy these people are behaving. It will only hurt them in the general election.

said he doesn't believe Reid has a credible source but urged the Senate Democratic leader to reveal who it is.
"I don't really believe that he's got any kind of a credible source," Romney said. "I don't know who gave him this line of reasoning, whether it came from the White House or the DNC or a staffer, but he ought to say where it came from, and then we can find out whether that person has any credibility. I know they don't."

Joseph Smith wept. WTF kind of namby-pamby comeback is that!??!
Try, "Reid, you're a liar!"
Then when Reid inevitably says, "Did you call me a liar?"
The proper response is,
"I did not! I am calling you a goddam liar, and a senile drooling old fool to boot!"
"By the way, I am also calling you and your son crooks."

Reid’s accusation makes no sense at all, simply because Romney has no reason to discuss his personal tax returns with a Bain investor and a Bain investor would have no reason to ask about Romney’s personal tax returns. Romney’s tax returns are entirely his personal business, and his personal business would never be a subject for discussion with Bain investors. That kind of detailed personal business just isn’t discussed ever in the corporate world. In all the years I’ve worked in the corporate world, I’ve never heard anyone ever talk about how much income tax they paid. Bain Capital’s corporate income statements and tax payments, on the other hand, would be a valid subject of discussion with investors. But Reid’s accusation simply make no sense and I don’t believe a world of it.
