(CBS/AP) AKRON, Ohio - John Wise appeared perplexed at the attempted murder charge against him when he stood before a judge Tuesday. Accused of shooting his wife in a hospital intensive care unit in what may have been a mercy killing, Wise asked the judge whether she was indeed dead.

Wise was apparently confused about the attempted murder charge Tuesday, asking, "Is she not dead?"

So I guess to the liberal media it will be ok to use a gun in a ‘mercy killing’. Cue eye roll.
The “mercy” is for himself. He had no right to take a life he did not give. She might have been at death’s door. She might have died within a few hours. But she might NOT have, as well. Her life was not his to take. The “mercy” was for himself.
Of course! I am just noting the media dance on a pin here and their hypocrisy between the lines.

This smells. He’s not old enough to be bewildered at the murder charge.
Something about that photo says he regarded his wife as an inconvenience to be eliminated. Those cold shark eyes IMO.
I am a widower. I held my wife’s hand in the ICU and watched as her life slipped away. I feel I may be qualified to comment.
Exactly. Same here.
