I have said on this forum for years...use INDIA. There is a base right on the SW tip of India...Israel can fly its jets over the Persian Gulf and then into Iran over the mountains. It is perfect.

Who's going to teach the Saudi pilots to say “Furball!”?

So go through Iraq and Jordan. Neither of those countries has the capacity to intercept the Israelis.

I used to read the Jerusalem Post every day. One day, the news was Syria had been bombed where a nuclear plant was being built. There was not one word about this possibility before it happened.

Based on what I know, I believe Israel will use the military airport in Greece. Netanyahu went there, think it was last year, plus I think I remember Israel had war games with Greece. Greece needs money really badly and “renting” that military base to Israel would bring in money.

Our military flew out of Greece when we attacked Afghanistan.

The reported Saudi denial of overflight permission to Israel may be just DISINFORMATION.

This statement issued by the house of Saud is for public consumption and in no way reflects their true inclination, which is to turn a blind eye and act as if nothing happened if and when the Israelis decide to act, lest something bad happen to any Saudi who gets the bright idea to actually try and hinder the Israeli's efforts.

Saudis are nothing if not cowardly, lazy, and incompetent. Not to mention they smell bad.

Netanyahu reportedly prefers the US to lead, or at least help in a possible strike on Iran

It would be foolish to wait for the US these days, given we are not sure if Zero is going to be ousted. And, that being said, Zero is waiting after the election to get the oil tanking and start his steak dictatorship on a crisis bun. He is working for IRan, with Iranian Valerie Jarret calling the shots.

What governments (especially authoritarian ones) say publicly and what they say privately through back-channels are two different things. This statement is no doubt for domestic consumption (i.e. to keep the Arab "street" happy). If Israeli attack planes do cross Saudi airspace, the Saudi's can either deny it or blame jamming.

Yes, but they must be built, first, before they can be delivered. It will take about 2-yrs before the first Saudi jet rolls off the line and then it must be accepted by the US government (DD-250) and then signed over to the Saudis.

Well, there’s that, as well as a whole lot of other miscellaneous Iraeli capability, and then who thinks Saudi pilots would bust their buttz to defend Iranian greaseballs?

Saudi Arabia purchased 84 F-15SA fighter aircraft from the United States in December 2011.

Who's to say that once the Saudi F-15's recognize the IFF(Identification Friend/Foe) broadcast from the Israeli F-16's the Saudi pilots will find themselves unable to lock weapons on the Israeli jets.
