And that ain't all.
What? This is a serious article? This little girl is beautiful just the way she is. I can not believe people would stoop so low as to attack her hair!
Just NO!
All they have to offer is their own bad example.
Indeed. I'd share my three simple points with her about people like this:
1. Great minds talk about ideas.
2. Average minds talk about events.
3. Small minds talk about other people.
So, Ms. Gabby, don't sweat the small stuff. ;-)
Amen. Well said!
I was talking with a fellow Scoutmaster who’s troop is moslty inner city black kids. Scouts requires learning to swim and he works with his kids on that quite a bit. He told me it is just cultural. He hasn’t come across a kid yet he couldn’t get to swim.
LOL!
I thought I’d misplaced my teenage girlish figure and then discovered my daughter was wearing it! And my heels! And my lipstick! And, wait a minute... is that MY mascara, too!?!?!? *sigh*
The blacks who are sniping at Gabby’s hair are trying to find fault because Gabby was
—taken in by a white Iowa host family for training and this family (wife daughters) is blond
—She trained with a Chinese coach in Iowa
—previously many black female Olympic athletes (track and field) had their hair straightened but no one said a word
—they hate on Gabby because her success is due to an interracial support and training network
Good point. But Gabby does nothing to promote the ‘hate whitey’ victim agenda.
