Politico ^ | 8/10/12 | Mike Allen

Posted on 08/10/2012 3:24:38 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

Advisers to President Barack Obama are scripting a Democratic National Convention featuring several Republicans in a prime-time appeal to independents — and plan a blistering portrayal of Mitt Romney as a heartless aristocrat who “would devastate the American middle class,” Democratic sources tell POLITICO.

Seriously. I understand the Republicans who did not like Bush, and wanted to send a message to the party, and for some insane reason were in utter denial about Obama being a Marxist, and voted for Obama in 2008. But for the life of me, I cannot understand how any Republican can support Obama in 2012.

Romney is not Reagan, Goldwater's firebrand attack dog, so there are no equivalents to "John Anderson Republicans" this time. While McCain was no Reagan, there is no "punish the GOP because of Bush and Iraq" Republicans this time. Who is left?

If Powell shows up, it will only confirm it is all about race with him. He could have voted for one of his Vietnam Brothers in Arms, but abandoned McCain.

My guess is any Republicans who show up will be irrelevant state level pols, gay Republicans, pro-choice women Republicans, and a handful of anti-Mormon bigots. Basically, those who would trade the destruction of the country, and the destruction of the majority of their freedoms for free birth control pills or a same sex "marriage" license.

Let us hope Romney and co. find some Dems out there to put in their convention. Perhaps even some former 0bama supporters who have lost the “hope.” Must be millions of them out there.

Obama is moderate.
Romney is conservative.
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.

Obama's handlers seem to think that 1984 was a guide book to building a utopia, and that Joseph Goebbels was admirable for his public relations skill.

Take names and addresses of all “Republicans” that appear at the Democrat convention...

Of course it’s all about race. When 95% of any group vote for the person who looks like them, and who they think is going to treat them better because of they way they look, what else do you call it?

Like everything else the democrats touch, the Second Coronation Of The Obama Diety will be another Three Ring Circus.

In the center ring there will be a display by Georgetown college girls showing how they make good use of their taxpayer paid codoms.

Other featured acts will include Gays, Pedophiles, and homosexual goats.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will conduct seminars on ethics and the Bill of Rights.

Union Thugs will conduct demonstrations of leg breaking methods while the Children of Acorn will provide tips on the newest vote fraud techniques.

Zell Miller.

I don’t think Miller is in good health these days, but a speech by him would be sweet.

Powell, Megan McCain never were GOP

One used it to advance his career

The other was born to a nutcase and needs attention.
