Two separate Republican homosexual groups are arguing over who made the first inroads into the GOP platform-drafting process.
From the Washington Blade [a 'gay' news source]:
GOProud disputes Log Cabins first at GOP convention
Two gay Republican groups disagree over the claim that the participation of Log Cabin in the 2012 Republican platform drafting process is a first for the organization as claimed by its executive director.
On Wednesday, the Washington Blade reported that Log Cabin would have four members of its organization credentialed to take part in the platform drafting process, which will happen in Tampa, Fla., the week before the Republican National Convention begins in that city.
R. Clarke Cooper, executive director of the organization, said this direct involvement in the platform drafting process was a first for Log Cabin.
But this assertion has been challenged by another gay Republican group that will also have a presence at the convention.
Chris Barron, chief strategist of GOProud, disputed Log Cabins assertion in an email to the Blade, saying he was credentialed to attend the platform hearings when he was Log Cabins political director in 2004.
Barron criticized Cooper, saying a Google search of Barrons involvement in the Republican National Convention would reveal his past work and Log Cabins participation in the 2012 process is nothing new or novel.
Ann “Adams Apple” Coulter, you mean
Dont make me puke...
WITH or WITHOUT a coquettish, peek-a-boo glimpse of... you know... The UnderThings? ;)
both are the same group.
Sodomites, Mormons...the GOP is going straight to hell.
Since the 2000 election, Republicans have made steady inroads in earning votes among self-identified homosexuals. That includes 2004 when W ran on the marriage amendment and the Tea Party's turnout in 2010.
That's OK, though, you don't want their votes as they're not good enough to be on your side.
You’re ridiculous. The public didn’t vote Republicans out for that reason. They did it because Pelosi beat the drums of coverup on the so-called “page scandal,” Tom DeLay’s fall, “Duke” Cunningham on the take and Bush fatigue.
You can have ‘em.
People notice those things ~ and the second Ken Mehlman 'fessed up about it all that did was confirm in the voting public's minds that they'd been right about the rascally Republicans.
BTW, there's a double standard here and the Democrats are not held to the same deal, but Republicans are!
And pantsless. In a speedo. And olive oil.
Wonder why that is?!
Hey, Junkey? Your boyfriend said to tell you to give him a call.
Oh for goodness sakes. Two homo groups fighting over the rebub party?
Time to take it back.
Some jalopies are too far gone to fix. There comes a time to call the scrap man.
