VERY poignant questions. Did he act alone? How did an unemployed college dropout afford over $5K in equipment and rig his entire apartment to explode in a way that would have the FBI working for days to disarm?
Then there’s the question of a phone call. I hadn’t heard these lines of thinking. Very interesting.

I liked it! Now this is the sort of news analysis that the MSM really should be doing rather than their typical “How can we politicize this” BS they keep pulling on us.
I HATE it when people overrate the value of eyewitness testimony.
It's extremely unreliable, and this has been proven in numerous overturned cases, and also scientific study.
People assume that for eyewitness testimony to be false it requires a witness to be lying; in fact it's routine for a perfectly sane, honest witness to report seeing things that didn't happen or didn't exist.
This has already been easily answered. He was employed by the school he was working at (thus only "unemployed" for the last month before the shooting) and had a large NIH grant that essentially paid for his entire tuition. Also, his family is quite wealthy and we have no idea if he had support from them.
He was a very smart guy, there is all sorts of information about booby traps and explosives on the web, and bomb disposal teams work slowly and carefully when there is no rush (and you're also collecting evidence at the same time).

Did you watch the “witnesses” on this news report at the link. Not one of them reports actually seeing a 2nd person.
Only that it “seemed” like there “might” have been. Like he received or made a call. The shooter could have been faking that and the investigators have the phone and phone records, so they know whether an actual call took place.
Same thing with some witness thinking he was gesturing to someone in the alley, or that he let some one in. It’s an impression they have, but no one states they saw an actual 2nd person.
It is beginning to look like Fenton drugged Holmes.He was dressed and placed in a conspicuous
place for the Aurora PD to find.This keeps his dad from testifying against
Timothy Franz Geithner in the LIBOR scandal.

and what about phone records - it is pretty certain that he got a phone call. from where, what number?
as for the money to buy all this stuff, we have all sorts of conjecture, but no answers.
finally did he pick the theater because it was a no gun zone?
Is there some extra-special reason some idiot doubled the volume on that?
