Apparently CNN considers the stating of cold, hard economic realities to be risky partisanship now. Take the case of Papa Johns CEO John Schnatter claiming that ObamaCare will increase costs for his company.
Papa John's is not the first company to claim Obamacare will raise its costs, but it is the first to be viciously attacked by CNN.
On Thursdays Situation Room, CNN felt it necessary to not only examine the truth behind Schnatters claim but also to attack his comments for their supposed political repercussions. CNNs Lisa Sylvester claimed that:
Schnatter may not have realized his comments would be picked up by the political blogs, but what corporate bosses say even to a small audience can quickly go viral. That's what happened to the executive Dan Cathy of Chick-fil-A after comments to a Baptist publication that he supports the biblical definition of the family unit.

CNN is part of the communists club of insane MSM. What should we expect.
Frankly the guy said the cost of his Pizza would rise .14 cents, frankly that’s an incredibly small amount.. I suspect it may go up more than that, but if they are going ape$hit over .14 cents, why aren’t they going ape$hit over more than a TRILLION in debt the doofus in chief has added to our debt?
Embarrassingly absurd. Good grief.
When CNN talks..........(crickets chirping).
.14 cents is about all a Papa John’s pizza is worth.
It should be OBVIOUS that this is a message to business to SUCK IT UP and take it, regarding Obamacare, at least prior to the election.
Unfortunately, it will probably work - considering the pansies that run these companies.
I wonder if running puff pieces for Saddam Hussein to keep an office in Baghdad had any political repercussions.
The line between mainstream journalism and advocacy journalism has long since blurred.
In 1993 it was Herman Cain, then CEO of Godfathers Pizza, who led the charge.
“And a pizza chain CEO shall lead them...”
Normally I detest national chain pizzas.
But I’m gonna order a few from Papa John’s just to support this guy.
I guess they didn't learn anything from Herman Cain explaining Godfather's healthcare costs to Bill Clinton.
Here’s a strategy for Schnatter:
Change the name to GrandPapa John’s
Fire all your workers who aren’t 65 or older.
Hire only Medicare eligible duffers.
Undercut all your competitors.
Bitter ingredients. Papa Johns!
