LOL! I live in one of the vaunted “battleground” states and the gop isn’t doing squat. Their efforts are limited to running ads. Its really something to behold. I don’t watch tv normally but every time I do tune in its solid ads. But on the ground there is zero enthusiasm.

I use a completely unscientific test to gauge sentiments. I count bumper stickers and lawn signs. To date I’ve seen about 8 or 9 total lawn signs and bumper stickers for willard. I see that many stickers for hussein in 1 or 2 days.

I can’t speak for other states but as of now, willard is getting stomped in VA.

Show me once when Romney was condemned for being a Mormon?
There has been mega exposure of Mormonism, but that has been going on since before 2002.
Some people have questioned how a man could fall for Mormonism and be qualified to be president, and that is a legitimate question, which is not condemnation of Romney's belief, it is just a question.

Reagan fired his manager and replaced him and many of his old team and went on to a landslide... mitt will never do it.

http://www.reagansheritage.org/html/reagan_career_busch.shtml

“The New Hampshire primary became a make-or-break event for the Reagan campaign. Reagan fired his campaign manager, John Sears, on primary day, and replaced him with William Casey, who was later appointed by Reagan as the Director of Central Intelligence. A critical moment came during a debate in New Hampshire when Reagan, saying, “I am paying for this microphone,” insisted on the inclusion of the entire field of Republican contenders. Reagan won New Hampshire by more than two to one and never looked back.”

And I think a lot of people are turned off by a mormon.

We all need to work for a brokered convention and pray we get a Gingrich or better yet.. a Palin.

Does anyone doubt that Palin would have been better than O? Does anyone doubt now that any of the conservatives would be worse us than that if our country gets o for another term?

If you agree then WORK for a different candidate than Romney! But read my tagline and if obama gets another term it will change to "It was ALL about SCOTUS. Most forget about that and HAVE DOOMED us forever".

The majority of the country are NOT paying attention to what is at stake in this election or this point in history.
But the DEMS are, and know what is at stake. They are feeling a tingle up their leg over the chance conservatism is headed for the trash heap of history. Nothing short of complete loss of our republic as the founders intended us to have and retain is at risk of loss.

The founders are rolling over in their graves seeing the REPUBLIC they found being fundamentally changed back to government of the government.. and for the government. That is exactly what they fought against and died for when they founded our great republic.

But alas, I don't think Mittens has ever had an idea, let alone a conservative one, in all his years in politics.

When you get down to the core of Romney, there's just no there there. He's a hollow man.

I’m still hoping for Allen West. He is my ideal candidate. I just don’t think Palin is interested in running.

where were his "faith" and his "upbringing" and his "Donnie and Marie" campaign during the Republican primaries against the conservative candidates?

I know and agree, why go hard against your own but be afraid against the opponents?

Maybe it's because the primary was supposed to be about targeting a much smaller population of just Republicans, and now Romney's trying to attract the middle? But he's still being too timid on the national stage, where the priimary was intra-party.

He can take only so many body blows before he falls too far behind. He can't count on an Obama rope-a-dope.

For whatever reason one attributes to it, he can't fight like he's Orrin Hatch or he will lose. If Obama is campaigning like he's Alan Grayson, Romney needs to fight like he's Allen West, but he's not.

Not yet, anyway. I hope that others are right that he's waiting for the convention and the nomination, and a VP at his side before unleashing the Romney that we saw in the primaries.

The gop has never been about winning. They’ve always been about preserving their share of the spoils.

We shouldn’t be surprised by the low turnout. The overwhelming majority of Americans have little use for either of the major political parties. Or their candidates. They view voting as only slightly less enjoyable and a lot less important than their annual prostate exam.

Come on RNC, throw that socialist idiot under the bus and nominate some one who can take it to the marxist.

I wish, but I think the RNC has their candidate. Sometimes I wonder whose side they are on.

We really need to cue the LEAVE WILLARD ALONE! graphic.

Thinking that willard is a lousy candidate does not equate thinking that hussein is a good one. Conservatives lose regardless.

The gop is going to nominate willard. That’s their choice. But they can’t get him elected without conservatives? Well. I guess they should have thought about that before coronating him.

Wait till September indeed. If willard continues as he has…he will have the unmistakablme stench of the loser. The third parties will do well, and hussein will be re elected.

The only good news is that the gop as we know and loathe it probably won’t be here in 2016.

Huh?
The VOTERS picked Romney.

YOU and Conservatives who form the circular firing squads, and eat our own, are the very reason Romney won.

Conservatives refused to unite behind one candidate.

Now?

Now we have no choice.

Romney or Obama?

You have chosen Obama

I choose Romney.

I think it would be more accurate to state that the majority of Americans could not name either of the political partys, much less their candidates. It's probably good they don't vote, but a sad state for our country to be in, when what we need is an educated informed population willing to participate in choosing good leaders.

Leave it to Romney to haul out the Country Club Rulebook and show up with the Clubhouse Lawyer ...to what Obama has planned as a gun, knife and broken bottle party.

Tom DeLay ...and Lee Atwater are the only Republicans I can recall who understood that politics, as practiced by the Democrat Party, was a bar-room brawl-—and they had the savvy to read the room right before-hand and knew who was going to do what and when.

By a clue Mitt....’bammy doesn’t read the Clubhouse Rules
