Signs that Paul Ryan May Be Romney's VP Pick
Breitbart-Big Government ^ | August 10, 2012 | Joel B. Pollak

The following signs have emerged that Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)--chair of the House Budget Committee, and widely respected pro-life fiscal conservative leader--could be announced as Mitt Romney's choice for Vice President--and sooner rather than later: 1. Ryan has surged on InTrade's prediction market in the past two days, making him the #1 contender ahead of Ohio Senator Rob Portman. 2. Ryan was on vacation in Colorado this week, but appeared at a memorial service today near Milwaukee for victims of Sunday's shootings at a Sikh temple... 3. ...and a mysterious charter plane from Boston to Ryan's hometown of Janesville, WI was reported this afternoon. 4. Breitbart News has learned that one major news network was alerting producers that Romney could announce his choice today... 5. ...and Romney is due to begin a bus tour tomorrow that will take him through several swing states--and which is thought to be a chance to showcase his running mate. 6. It is not unprecedented for campaigns to announce the candidate for Vice President on a Friday night. Barack Obama announced Joe Biden as his pick on a late Friday night/early Saturday morning in 2008.

Just yesterday or thereabouts, wasn’t Drudge headlining with a different pick? Petraeus?

Petraeus?”

I do believe you are right. Don’t check Drudge out any more but a friend told me they had an opinion poll about him.

Carry Wisconsin and MI and maybe Ohio with Ryan? Maybe...

Devoid of any semblance of fiscal sanity with him gone in the House and no one to fill Boehner's seat? Sure.

That is my fear, we need him to get through some real cost reductions, much like Ford's and many other Corporate turn-arounds.

I am not sure as VP he can do it from that slot...

He got 68% of the vote in the last election. I doubt his seat would be in trouble.

The more I think about Ryan the better I feel about him.

He is from Janesville WI, a very working class place.

He is VERY pro-life.

Mass Attending Catholic.

He is wicked smart.

He is nobodies fool and has no problem taking it to the press, Professionally.

He knows the budget and the numbers inside and out.

Did I mention Wicked smart and very Pro-Life Catholic.

I like Ryan, he is one of the few people courageous enough to even hint at the economic realities facing this republic and offering a proposed solution.

Looking at his biography however, it seems the inspiration for his political career came from reading Ayn Rand. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)You can bet your bippie that will be one of the first aspects of his past vetted by the media. Obama’s romance with Bill Ayers and communism? Nothing to see there. Ryan and Rand? A cruel social darwinist- mark my words, it will come.

Can Ryan run without giving up his seat? I’d love to see him for VP but want to hedge my bets!

#7. I saw him coming out of a Chick-fil-A and he was wearing a fake moustache.

[That should be the clincher that he’s the pick.]

“Ryan works for me...he is the real deal and would be a huge help in getting our fiscal house in order...”

I agree, BUT the fricking Dems already have a commercial in the can with a faux Ryan pushing Granny over the cliff. Never underestimate the dumbed down Americans watching their TV’s, let alone the very dumbed down non Americans whom are registered to vote.

I thought Romney wanted a Governor, a congressman from either house or senate makes no sense, if the goal is a congressional majority.
