Dave Davies, senior reporter for Philadelphia's WHYY radio station and an NPR contributor, reports that Obama campaign staffers prevented him from interviewing voters outside a recent campaign rally featuring Michelle Obama.
"Obama campaign operatives barred me from talking to voters outside the event, to the point of interfering with my interviews and grabbing my microphone," he reports. Multiple campaign staffers interfered with Davies; none would explain why he was not allowed to conduct interviews. (You can listen to Davies' audio report, which includes his exchanges with the staffers, on the WHYY website).
The Obama campaign says that despite Davies' experience, reporters are allowed to conduct interviews.
"This isnt our policy reporters can interview whoever they would like at our events," campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt told POLITICO. "Our staff has been reminded of that."

Well, duh - what did he expect from a group of thugs?
Can you imagine the media reaction if Romney tried this?
One word. Gestapo.
There’s a pic from the rally on Drudge.
If you actually interview someone who supports Obama and air or report on it the sheep will see how unintelligent the supporters are.

Ok who bullied Davis? Time for names. That is the only way to stop this kind of intimidation. Oeanwhile the Obamaite oficial claim it is not their poicy but it will keep hapening until the bullies get personally IDed and publically denounced.
Exactly.
They didn’t want another interview with an Obama supporter saying, “we gonna get summat dat Obama Money.”
“He gonna give me zhit—he gonna pay for my car, he gonna buy my Newports..”
“Jennifer Austin, the Pennsylvania press secretary for the Obama campaign, told Davies that the campaign “encourage[s] reporters to talk to our supporters at events,” though she would not agree to his request for an interview.”
LOL. What was the risk that NPR was going to write a negative story if it got the interview? Looks like paranoia runs deep in the Obama campaign. .
Hypocrisy. It’s what Democrats have for dinner.
Wow! The Zero campaign doesn’t even want NPR talking to people attending their events, and what does Big Media think of this? I hear crickets chirping.
Seig Heil, Kommerad!
