But for Thune and Newt, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a less distinguished roster.

Once again a brilliant expose buddy.

And you are correct about Paul Ryan. He understands how they think, who they really are and knows how to destroy them. There is a near four minute video of Ryan taking Tiny Tim apart if I can find it I will put it up. It's terrific. Any one that can gut Tiny Tim can blow right past O'Axel or Barry boy for that matter. O'Biden won't even be a challenge.

Celebration time come on! We have one of our own on the ticket which you must give Romney a lot of credit for doing. Paul Ryan is a Tea Party guy who is willing to take on the Turd Rail of politics and tell the truth about Social Security and Medicare. This is Mitt Romney taking the battle straight to the heart of the battle with no fear of the consequences. For someone who has been labeled Wimp Romney for not responding to the vicious attacks by the Chicago Machine he has forced the debate right on the last place they wanted it to be, the economy. The selection of Ryan highlights two weaknesses of the Ocommie campaign, his lack of economic understanding and BoBo Biden.

As a campaigner to date, Romney has been very strong with only one (unfortunately major-) blip on his screen. It being his tin-eared unwillingness to speak up for Chick-Fil-A.

Romney can correct that blunder by taking Newt’s advice and serving Chick-Fil-A at the convention one night.

The pick of Ryan is truly outstanding. He is a real bridge between mainstream Republicans and the Tea Party Patriots, the two groups that can win the election going away merely by finding common ground and then GETTING OUT THE VOTE.

Listening to Axelhead on ABC This Week. What a windbag. Does he have indigestion problems? He's doing his burping thing again just like he did last week in Fox News Sunday.

MTP

Gregory seems actually giddy this morning that Ryan is the VP-selectee.

Romney apparently ‘asked’ Ryan last weekend.

Gregory to Priebus: Is this a game-changer.

Priebus: Yes, it is.

==

Gregory runs old Dem ad that Ryan wants to cut Medicare, kill seniors, steal their possessions.

[Gregory ignores the cuts Obamacare will impose on Medicare, seniors.]

Gregory keeps bringing up the Ryan Budget. [IIRC, the Dems have not PASSED a budget since Obama has been in office.]

Priebus brings up that Obamacare ‘steals’ $700 million from Medicare.

==

[Ryan as VP-selectee puts the onus back on economics, budget. Team Romney-Ryan need to avoid being distracted by the ‘shiny things’ [a.k.a., distractions] the Dems/Media are going to throw at them.]

Meanwhile DNC Dave is desperate to get anything on Ryan right out of the box. He's shilling for the left so hard its a disgrace.

DNC Dave saying Ryan wants to cut the social lifeline and change SS making it a voucher program. Reince does not fall for any of it and DNC Dave comes away frowning that he could not bulldoze Reince. Priebus did a stellar job and did it without looking abrasive.

McLame and Washerwoman Schults?? Can’t they do better than that?

His lips are moving, I have the sound off. But I can't stand to look at the festering POS any more than I can Obama.

Almost looking forward to Wash Rag.

Maybe there's something else on, or I can just stick with FR.

Quote: "Romney appeals to voters who are dissatisfied with the last four years. Obama appeals to voters who are dissatisfied with America."

Excellent! Ryan was an excellent choice by Romney - shows he is a serious presidential candidate, IMO.

John Karl on ABC - - Ryan is the only VP candidate that Romney actually met one on one (a week ago_.

Axelrod on Ryan - should trouble eveyone besides the right ideologues. Lists the many reasons why Ryan is fiscally nuts for America. He will end Medicare as we know it.......and......said he believes we should ban abortion even in cases or rape. (Axelrod just can't stop burping - drives me nuts!)

They just don't believe in Medicare....he is an ideologue. Ryan helps clarify the ticket.....but he doesn't help the ticket.

George S. asks about the "Romney killed my wife" ad. George shows the commercial wher Romney criticizes obama - Axelrod says the ad doesn't say romney killed his wife...tries to justify that ad by bringing up the ad about obama ending work for welfare. George asks again about the dead wife ad.....Axelrod sayn no, BUT.....he did all these other bad things to Soptic et al.

Back on Ryan - didn't think Romney would go so far to satisfy the most strident voices in his party.....BURP.

LOLOLOL, Ryan really bothers Axelrod...YEAH!

Thanks AB, it is a great choice and the press corpse is going hard after him as expected.

MTP is hammering hard but Scott Walker is answering well. The entire discussion is now Medicare and Obamacare which is exactly where you want it.

Ya gotta be kidding me. McLame and Washerwoman Schults??

My thoughts, exactly. I wouldn't waste the energy to press the channel changer on the remote to watch either McCain or Wasserman. I just ate, so there is no way I could watch BOTH of them on the same program and keep the breakfast down.

The big think that few talk about is the stellar stealth attack on SS fund that the regime did some time ago in the guise of a tax cut.

They cut 2% off SS,4% for employers pretending to give taxpayers and employers a tax cut. What they did in reality was to gut the SS fund making it go bankrupt years earlier. And they also gutted potential income for those now paying into the fund since they will now pay less into the fund and get less in return. Slick move but few on our side talking about it.

I don't worry about Romney, like many here seem to. He's made mostly good decisions, Ryan being the latest. He wants it badly. He wants to fix the mess very badly.

Judging Mitt from his time in Mass amongst the slime liberals may not be a very good gauge. Haven't I heard him support life quite strongly ? Yes. Energy and Obamacare pronouncements are still strong. Ryan supports all of the above.

We've seen Romney fight hard and dirty, which he'll need to do soon. Ryan's pick tells me this campaign will be about ideology as much as economics. Ryan's pick tells me they'll face the entitlement issue square on, finally. Romney is a fixer. I don't see him satisfied with sitting in the WH and not accomplishing anything.

Both Chairman Priebus and Gov Scott are very quotable in support of Ryan today. The meme floating around that dems are happy with the Ryan pick is a sign of their skewed vision of reality. The next few months are going to be fascinating.

Scott Walker is hitting dinger after dinger. Says they should not shy away because of the polls. Brilliant analysis of the current climate vs the status quo.

Now Axehead using the tired scare tactics they used in 08’. Keep using the old formula Axel.

Pray for America
