I would probably give her a speaking role because she's a great speaker, but I'm sure she's done little for Romney to oblige him to elevate her in any way.
There are more than one would think possible...and as far as I know, none have ever been zotted for expressing it. They have come right out and said an Obama reelection would help advance conservatism in the long run.
Their plan is...
1) Obama gets 2nd term.
2) Something magical happens.
3) More conservatives get elected to office.
But nonetheless, they're here and out of the closet.
I respectfully disagree. I in no way an Obama to win, and have repeatedly said why my vote only matters to God and Me, because I will be voting in Oregon, I do not encourage anyone else to follow that plan, but I wish we had in the last election, because the GOPe will never change, they completely ignored the 2010 rout and give us a Stinking socialist light to run against a full blown Marxist. Somewhere along the line someone should point out the emperor has no clothes.
We have already spent hundreds of Billions of dollars on ObamaCare and whatever they have implemented will not go away under Romney, count on it. For old guys like me, we can see those trains loading us up to go to happy land where work will set us free. Euthanasia is so common in the Netherlands that no one notices. England has added a treatment known as a fast death track, and people just stand by as casual observers, that are glad it isn't them.
From abortion to euthanasia in forty years, the Church has effectively been destroyed.
I understand your frustration with the GOPe. As I posted in another thread earlier, our nomination process is badly flawed. For example, a conservative bastion like Texas has zero say in our candidate because by the time the primary elections get to them, the nominee has already been chosen. We are basically allowing New Hampshire and Iowa to choose who gets to be our nominee and that's ridiculous. There has to be a better way.
Although this election cycle, we were really screwed when Sarah Palin decided last October not to run. Had she told us several months earlier, we might have been able to get a top-tier conservative into the race that could have prevailed against Romney instead of having our second-tier candidates get caught up in a circular firing squad, leaving Romney with an easy stroll to the finish line. That was the story of this election cycle. We were holding the door open for Sarah and when she didn't come through, we did not have a backup plan.
I find nothing to disagree with in this post, and find the last paragraph to be exactly on point.
If Sarah did not see the danger and decide to do everything in her power to defeat this man, then I guess she wasn’t who we expected. I never figured she was the wisest person for the Presidency, but I felt she could rouse the rabble enough to derail this Marxist train we are riding, guess not. In any case I will be writing her in.
