Axelrod: Priorities ad doesn’t blame Romney for woman’s death

Senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod on Sunday denied that a recent ad from pro-Obama super-PAC Priorities USA blamed Mitt Romney for a woman’s death from cancer, after her husband lost his job and insurance at a plant shuttered by Bain Capital

“I don't think anybody, anybody believes . . . that Gov. Romney can be blamed for the death of Mr. Soptic's wife,” Axelrod said Sunday on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

“And, frankly, I don't think the ad says that either,” he added.

The ad, released by Super PAC Priorities USA, has been roundly criticized in recent weeks, with many claiming it goes too far and suggests Romney is responsible for the woman’s death.

And Paul Ryan didn’t push Grannie off the cliff in another ad released on behalf of the Obama propaganda machine, either....

Some of us remember the little girl out picking daisies, then the atomic weapon was detonated, too. LBJ won that election, as I recall, in part because of the revulsion to the idea that Barry Goldwater would use tectical nuclear weapons on the battlefield, a completely legitimate use of the arsenal at the time.

Democrats, from time to time, have used some particularly offensive ads. But they would also lie and say, “We didn’t do that.”

Axelrod is weird looking and an awful liar. Surely the Obama campaign can put a more accomplished liar out there for the Sunday shows.

I remember my mother telling me:

"Before the election, the Democrats were saying that if I voted for Goldwater, we'd be sending combat troops into Vietnam. They were right -- I did and we are."

I saw Axle on all the Sunday morning shows, and he did not look like someone who was confident that Romney just handed the Dems a win. He looked more like a man passing a gallstone the size of a bowling ball. The Ryan pick has him shaken, which can only mean good things.

Don’t know why, Bend, but the last half dozen or so of your threads really cracked me up. Comic genius! Keep it up!

David and Debbie are getting laughed out of town over their remarks. Bender2 is making hay by the bale on Free Republic. Time for you... to work your magic, Joe.

Why are we here today? I mean did or did not... Mitt Romney kill a woman?

Now, give me a moment... give me a moments--

Yeah, I know the right-wing and Fox News... is going crazy over this--

But, hey, it is a fact without doubt the right-wing and Fox News... are crazy to begin with and liars to boot!

Now, Mitt Romney was CEO of Bain Capitol and an employee's wife did die... and we all recall that Paul Ryan push an old woman off a cliff just for the hell of it--

I mean we all saw it! It was on TV... for Christ sake!

So, we find ourselves with two murdering GO Right-Wingers running against us this fall... and that is why we are here--

Now, all this crap about Mitt's and Paul's cool hair, it ain't no big efing deal... is it?

How'd I do, Boss? How'd... I do?

Joe, when it comes to your talking magic... a thumb's up. You have no peer!

Axelrod: Priorities ad doesn’t blame Romney for woman’s death...even more despicable than Axelrod and his ilk thinking they're so much smarter than everyone else is their arrogance in thinking that others are incapable of understanding the manifest and implied meanings of the stupid comments and ads the 'rats put out - - see also all thsoe who keep insisting the "you didn't build that" doesn't mean what it says or was taken out of context.....
