Son is moved...what a great house he found! He kept warning everyone about the sort of narrow driveway then slammed his car into a tree on one side, LOL! Broke a headlight but no biggie.

Woohoo! Welcome back! Just in time for the fight! I didn’t see the Wisconsin turnout but I heard it was huge! Romney chose WISELY! I don’t know if he chose Ryan because of Ryan’s budget expertise or because he wants to attract the TEA Party crowd. I suspect both. The campaign raised $3.5 million in the first 24 hours after Ryan was revealed to be the pick.

So much news—so little time. I was reading (couldnt sleep) about Me!chelle’s fundraising with the “1%ers” in Hollywood. It was on a link from
drudge...yoi. The grandness of it all. Her Majesty’s remarks were so inspiring—blah, blah, blah. The best indicator though is the comments from the readers. Scathing sums it up pretty well:)

I’m looking forward to the GOP convention this year. But I am very disappointed that Sarah isn’t speaking. I’d love to see a Palin, Gingrich and West lineup. Now THAT would fire up the crowd! Gingrich will be too old for another run, but I hope to see Palin and West on the sidelines for the future. And, of course, Paul Ryan will be in an excellent position to run for president. I see promise for the future with this excellent group of candidates. Hopefully the gop-e doesn’t mess it up!
Rose is right. Sarah was not quite ready. Ryan has been tested. Sarah has been through trial by fire though and I have no doubt that she’ll be ready when the time comes - and stronger than ever!
Romney has the experience of the governorship, and Ryan knows the ins and outs of the inside-the-beltway culture. He can help guide Romney.
Rose talking about the Catholic vote. Why the heck would ANYbody who calls themselves Catholic vote for Obama???? Speaking as a Catholic, I would not even consider it!
Ryan was the perfect choice! He could, maybe should be top of the ticket. Jim and Rose are excited and making great commentary.
I think Sarah is going to run for senator from AZ. She can do more for the country that way. It’s possible she could have a place in Romney’s cabinet but she’d be more effective as senator.
Wasserman Shultz was on TV so much yesterday! She is incoherrent! It got to the point I had to leave the room when she as on. At one point I even watched a bit of the horrible closing of the olympics, LOL!
Morning, all! Mad at myself, set my alarm for PM instead of AM and missed the first hour. Really wanted to hear it right away.
Ryan’s speech last night about what he loves/is as a Wisconsinite - right down to icefishing. LOL The Yankee liberals from the Northeast will never understand.

Of course I’m biased to Ryan but I have to admit Romney is saying the right things and neither he nor Ryan are using teleprompters!
Thaat’s so cool. Oddly, we were sitting out on the porch and hummingbirds this weekend would go to the feeder not even 10 feet from us, sit and feed, too. Kind of amazed, seems pretty bold of them to show up when we’re all sitting right there, BS’ing and drinking beer, and feeding like we weren’t even there.
Forgot...have you seen the great picof Ryan with his deer kill? It’s making the left crazier than usual! They are calling for more gun regs BUT he got his buck with a bow!
Kind of crazy, isn’t it? Romney doesn’t seem like some slick car salesman anymore. Ryan on the ticket seems to have brought something out of Romney we haven’t seen before. Might become more palatable for people like my neighbor. Well, heck, more palatable even for myself! LOL
