They had to do a walk run in full Kit, as the Limeys, say to get out, I forget the distance. We did a four mile run every morning in boots sans fatigue jacket. This was at the start of the Army DI system but out of Basic Training we ran many of our DI’s in to the ground, I ran in the middle I never had that second kick.
But, the inevitable, realty struck when I went to VN, no matter hard the training is it ain't as hard as the real thing.
sure has changed, hell when the British marines don’t accept women and now homosexuals get promtions even though they were lying then what does that say about what s going on to the military.
When I talked to that marine recruiter it sure made my eyes open.

Telling me that my son would never be frced to share a room or a shower or a sleeping bag in survival training with a queer, that it;s great to have women next to you in combat even though they do not do the same tests to get there and then try to tell me that women do the same tests but later admits they do not.
I’m just thankful I’ve done my years and can look back at the good pals I made, the countries I went to and the things I did.
I feel sorry for my boys and their future and they’re still in school and feel sorry for my daughter who might never be able to find a decent guy in the future as many boys today are just girlie
