Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A and Ontario police officers on Sunday uncovered one of the largest cockfighting operations ever in the Inland Valley.
An estimated 1,000 gamecocks were found on the property in the 13000 block of Cucamonga Avenue in Ontario
Police officers arrested two people and cited eight people, according to a Humane Society news release.
Humane Society officers also collected numerous items related to cockfighting such as razors attached to roosters' legs during a fight, training equipment and wager cards.

I wonder if this is the group that supplies chicken to the “Chick-fil-a” resturant in Upland,CA?
Well, this should help all Californians to sleep peacefully tonight...
How do you get the ring off when it swells up?
I heartell there’s one in San Francisco too!
Pop Quiz: Cock Fighting is a prevalent cultural feature of what third-world country located adjacent to the Golden State?
How does such a ring work, anyway?
Because the cockfighting is almost entirely run by illegal mexicans and since the illegals are a protected species that overrides their animal-hugging leftist tendencies.
The law enforcement entities tend to turn a blind eye to the cockfighting because if they did something about the cockfighting they’d end up with hundreds of illegal mexicans with animal cruelty charges to have to deal with and they really don’t want that problem.
The fact the we are hearing about this one implies that the cockfighting operation got so out of control (must have started have a bunch of fights and robberies) that the law was forced to do something about it.
You left out the most interesting parts:
“Participants included several high-ranking Los Angeles and San Bernardino county employees, including an auditor and an engineer, officials said.”
and
“Many of the participants were high level employees for Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties.
This is gonna be good.
