Davidson College in North Carolina has become the first university in the nation to prevent Chick-fil-A from being served on campus.
A liberal arts college in North Carolina has become the first in the nation to prevent Chick-fil-A from being served at campus events over the restaurant's indirect support of pro-family groups perceived by some as “anti-gay.”
The student organization that controls student funds at Davidson College made the decision last week to prevent the sandwiches from being served at a series of events called “After Midnight,” when students circulated a petition expressing outrage over a Chick-fil-A’s owner’s monetary donations to groups including Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council.

And people often wondered how Brown Shirts could all be suckered into serving evil.
To be fair, they will be graduating with extremely useful liberal arts degrees, and Chick Fil-A is a competitor of McDonald’s - so this actually makes sense.
Do they get any state or federal funding?
Sue them into oblivion.
The only good in this kind of thing is finally and fully illuminating the true nature of the liberal-gay agenda.

Well, I know what I would do if I were an alumnus of Davidson College. It would be the same thing that I did many years ago when I stopped donating to the Columbia University Graduate School of Business from which I hold an MBA. Although I have been a donor to the Catholic college from which I received a BA 47 years ago, I keep a close watch on them. If they “step out of line”, further annual donations would cease. Alumni money talks. It is past time for many of these colleges and universities to get the message.
Not that it would ever happen, but it would be edifying if large numbers of parents started choosing not to send their kids and their money to universities and colleges who pulled such stunts. You would suddenly find they would stop this nonsense if it hit their bottom line.

I’ll just bet that any Chick-a-filet store in the area or neighboring city, will be just jam-packed as a result of this! They’ll take a lot of business from any store on the university campus! There are other students there who must be ticked about this move. This isn’t a smart move for the college!

I think North Carolina might be a lost cause. I NEVER thought I would have said such a thing. It is interesting how some of the liberal states are turning towards GOP and the conservative states are turning Democratic. It is interesting to see transition but I would rather it be a win for our side. I guess people watched in horror California turn to liberal after being conservative for so long.
