Just like today — Whenever a Black celeb says “BO isn’t a bad guy” etc he/she is trashed (maybe rightfully so) but HOW different is that from an Irishman and/or a Catholic professing undying ‘love’ for JFK back in the 60’s JUST because he was Catholic?

JFK was dead before I was born, but I'll venture to say that, in those days no one, Catholic or otherwise, had a CLUE what he was all about nor did they have the resources to find out, unlike what people have today in regards to Hussein.
I'm just so damn sick of seeing Christians on this forum more interested in taking digs and potshots at one another, than in finding common cause against our Real Enemies. I'm not talking about the Religion forums -- at least there, it's intended for heated discussion and debate -- but something like this, to see an otherwise "respectable" FReeper make an unwarranted crass comment, it just galls me. It's so stupid and pointless.
