I just finished reading Atlas Shrugged. I was moved to TEARS at her description of America under the Lyin’ King’s Boot. How DID she know this back in 1957? It’s Amazing.

Ayn Rand must be mentioned whenever Obamamedia discuss Ryan. This might cause some Democrats to go beyond their approved reading list, and read Rand. The rest of the retards will be contented to think Rand was a travel agent.

“Chris Matthews: Paul Ryan “is Ayn Rand” and wants to “screw” the poor”

As compared to you, Matthews—a common c**ksucker.

The way to get the poor people to work harder is to screw them a little bit.

Didn't Ben Franklin say something about not letting people in poverty get comfortable in their poverty. Sometimes to get someone back on track they need to get screwed a little bit. I didn't take my schooling seriously until I had a few bad years of grades and got into academic trouble. I then refocused, buckled down, and got my degree. Best decision I've ever made. And it's one that I attribute to being allowed to fail.

Ryan has already addressed this.

“I, like millions of young people in America, read Rand’s novels when I was young. I enjoyed them,” Ryan says. “They spurred an interest in economics, in the Chicago School and Milton Friedman,” a subject he eventually studied as an undergraduate at Miami University in Ohio. “But it’s a big stretch to suggest that a person is therefore an Objectivist.”

“I reject her philosophy,” Ryan says firmly. “It’s an atheist philosophy. It reduces human interactions down to mere contracts and it is antithetical to my worldview. If somebody is going to try to paste a person’s view on epistemology to me, then give me Thomas Aquinas,” who believed that man needs divine help in the pursuit of knowledge. “Don’t give me Ayn Rand,” he says.

I wonder if Matthews understands that people without a job are generally poor. I wonder if it is possible for him to be honest, and admit whose administration the ranks of the unemployed, the welfare recipients, and the food stamp users swelled under. I wonder if he can grasp that men don’t get rich in a vacuum. I wonder if he can also grasp that men who increase their monetary standing, must also increase the monetary standing of others. Employers make profits, and salaries are paid to those who work for them out of those profits. Men offer salaries, and other men are happy to accept and go to work. Things are created. People sell those things to other businesses, or to the workers that went to work for a salary.

Tell us Chris, how many people did Barack Obama put to work?

Explain to us why there are so many fewer people working today than when Obama came to office.

Then explain to us, why you’re demagoguing a team that hopes to do better than he did, when it’s painfully obvious he doesn’t have a single clue.

In short Chris, how does it feel to know how big a fool your are now seen as, for pushing Obama on us in 2008?

Double down? Once an idiot...

I'll tell you how much the country has changed. When I was growing up poor in the fifties, the same attitude towards improving your lot in life was held by the majority of the population whether Republican or Democrat. And that method was to work hard, stay out of trouble, and don't blame other people i.e. the rich for your problems. My parents were strong Democrats, but like most Democrats, they scorned the welfare mentality. If you had a serious setback, you were to get back on your feet and try harder. Nobody (okay, few people) thought that having the government make your life for you was the way to go.

That was fifty some years ago. Now the message from the Dems is that you can't make your way without gov. help. Lots of gov. help. That's how much we've gone downhill.

The reality is that Obama is more like Ayn Rand in her hatred of the poor. Rand was direct about, but Obama and his cohorts act as if they are for the poor only to use them to start a class war to drive their agenda. Once they achieve their Marxist plan they will do everything to eliminate the poor by deeming them life unworthy of life because they will be thought of as useless to the state.

Personally, I am also troubled that Ryan mentioned that Rand had influence in his life because Rand was CERTAINLY demonically possessed.
