The College Union Board & Chick-fil-A

The Union Board at Davidson is a student organization that plans and manages student events. They have occasionally served Chick-fil-A sandwiches as part of their "After Midnight" events. "After Midnight" has been a regular monthly Union Board activity since Davidson's Alvarez College Union opened in 2001. It offers students free food and some form of entertainment from midnight to 2 a.m.
The Union Board serves different menus at "After Midnight" throughout the year, and Chick-fil-A has been served once or twice annually.
The members of the Union Board are responsible for selecting the "After Midnight" menu. In light of a student petition calling for a ban on Chick-fil-A at "After Midnight," the board has decided to gather student input on the matter and discuss the request at one of its weekly meetings after classes resume on August 27.
Adriana Nassar, Union Board president, and Cameron Joe, Union Board vice president, issued a statement saying "The Davidson College Union Board is firmly committed to building an inclusive community that serves each member of our student body."
Only a self-important organization like this would call an official meeting about chicken they ate twice last year. Keep the dumbasses occupied, I guess.
Good grief. Nobody gives a damn what takeout you order for your midnight bitch-fests.

Could the company could sue for religious discrimination?
The reaction of everyday Americans to this whole story has been an utter catastrophe for the Rectal Left. That's why the media has dropped this story like a hot chicken sandwich.
You just made me choke on my salad.
Best post of the day award goes to Dr. Thorne, kids!
Somebody could have great sport with this by giving students Chick-fil-A coupons.
I’m think of some kind of coupon where if you buy a lot you get some free.
Guess these dingbats will find out on their next fundraiser !
I am a Davidson alum and agree with Mr. Cathey. But I won’t punish the school or students for their decision. I agree that contacting, or discussing their sandwich-buying-decision with, the media is a little much.
Any of these anti-CFA statements and decisions need to be met with a loud and truthful accusation of being anti-Christian.
When the truth is shouted back at them, it sets them back on their heels.
The left is suffering from the self inflicted wound called
“exposure of agenda”.
More and more people are seeing through them to their “master” and “father” who is directing them.
Agreed
