You are correct. I made a faux pas. There are not “many” Americans who believe this, but a relative few, but they are in positions like big campaign donors and lobbyists who believe we should give more, not less to Israel and they don’t care where it comes from.

Personally I believe we should give absolutely nothing in foreign aid to ANY country including Israel. Those who want their pet country to on the dole to Americans should give what they can afford out of their own bank account, and not out of the US Treasury.

We need to take care of the USA first and if we have anything left then worry about others. But with $15T in debt it is doubtful that we can justify bailing out others, better off than the USA in my lifetime.

BTW please either discuss this rationally, or don’t discuss it at all, because I don’t have the time or inclination to read irrational and absurd claims and screaming. Take care.

I don’t want even one dime of my tax dollars going offshore. If the hacks in Congress don’t have the guts to say that, I will.
