I was walking on the sidewalk on the west side of the White House in April when security shut down all traffic, both vehicle and pedestrian.
After a ten minute wait, a six car convoy with Joe Biden in an armored Suburban eased out of the driveway. A guy in a thousand dollar suit pointed and said to me: “if Joe didn’t have a chauffeur he couldn’t find his way back home”

I agree. I’ve often wondered just how many deaf people are at these things where they are signing. It’s mostly a political statement of how much you really love folks with disabilities. “Just remember, we care so much more than they do!”
