Our founding fathers did not found the nation on hatred of religion! God is the only witness between good and bad and as much as have been proud of this site over the years, the rhetoric from so called Christians hurts me!
you may believe in this but I don't! I feel that God uses people to his good, regardless, and I am seeing a huge swell of support since Mitt introduced Ryan.. It is a phenomena! Mitt is not going to indoctrinate conservatives, we are to strong for that! but Mormons as a group are more than most people claiming to be conservative! I mean no harm but think about it..There are many black people that don't realize they are not demorats? But their pattern of voting is democrat regardless! Mormon's want what we want, you can take the doctrine and rip it apart, but in the end, they are not going to convey their religion on to us!!! Well, I posted elsewhere that I was raised in a Christian family and was taught to beware of false prophets, false prophecy. I don’t hate Mormons, but I’m very sorry, I cannot accept Joesph Smith or the book of Mormon as anything but.
Some of these so-called anti Mormons have been posting here since the very beginning and criticizing Mormonism the whole time here. It’s not new and I’m not going to ban them now simply due to the fact that a Mormon is the presumptuous, er, presumptive nominee. Christians have just as much right to state their mind as anyone else. And I’ve stated ever since the beginning of FR, that I’m very biased toward God and our traditional Judeo-Christian values and teachings. I’m not going to demand that Christians cannot criticize false teachings on FR. My dear sainted mother, God rest her soul, would roll over in her grave if I did.
If this point causes the downfall of FR as some of our detractors pray, then so be it. My soul is more important to me than my politics.
Hogwash - the articles posted come nearly 100% from mormon sources - then the mormons themselves are 'anti'. Middle America - as you call it - needs to be made aware of the nature of mormonism. So quit your bellyaching.
And that is exactly how our country finds itself in the predicament it is now in with our choices being a Communist and a Socialist. Voters should never give up their principles and "settle" for the "good" of the country!
