When the VP choice was first announced, I was afraid that Romney's campaign would try to muzzle Ryan in the same way that McCain's handlers did to Sarah Palin. They refused to let her fight back the disgusting personal attacks and outrught lies from Obama's goons.
Talk is cheap. When the RNC cleans it's own house first I might start to believe them. Use the 'knucks' on the House and Senate GOP leaders and weak sisters, leave them toothless and weeping on the floor, metaphorically speaking of course.
Sadly, I share the same view about Ryan being effectively muzzled in the event of victory. As VP Ryan will be sorely missed in the House and will be powerless to effect the Senate. Furthermore he'll be isolated from Tea Party influence. Romney will use him and then isolate him while tainting him in the same way that McCain did Palin.
