You know what, Tobyhill? If they continue to jump from issue to issue like this so that they can avoid talking about the economy at some point they will appear to the independent voters to be out-of-touch for ignoring the real problems this nation has.

After they reach that point, the next point will be independent voters realizing exactly what you already know. They are not really ignoring important issues such as the economy but purposely dodging those issues.

This is the point when it will BACKFIRE on them.
