My family (and friends) was involved first hand in those efforts to teach people in other parts of the world, both by spending a lot of time with them, and a lot of money. I know what I’m talking about. If you want I can go into detail. That’s the extent of my ‘lecture’.

I want to keep my home warm as cheaply as possible, and if burning our surplus grain will do it, then that’s how it will be.

There is a price for being stupid, I could care less if they choose to starve, just so my home is warm.

I think you're confusing it with methanol.

The Indycars run on ethanol and the fuel supplier has to put in a small percentage of gasoline lest the mechanics swig it on lunch break.

And which of these countries, and others just like them, don't hate the USA? We are supposed to feel bad that we can't give their poor food while their leaders steal most of the aid and order a new fleet of luxury cars for themselves.

If the poor were the least bit creative, they would find a way to drink ethanol instead of eating .... but wait, ethanol is poison .... possibly a way to reduce the population from 6 billion to 1 billion desired by the progressives.
Ethanol is a poison in a high enough dose. At a normal dose, it is what gets you drunk. It is the alcohol we can't drink. Do some basic research.
