Two people, including one security guard, were shot at the office of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., this morning.
The police are investigating this incident, said FRC President Tony Perkins in a statement on the shooting. Our first concern is with our colleague who was shot today. Our concern is for him and his family.
The shooter was also reportedly shot, according to a local news report, which notes that the FBI is at the scene.
The Family Research Council is a socially-conservative non-profit that participates in cultural debates about abortion, traditional marriage, and religious liberty.
Yep and Holder’s ‘people’ in the black panthers that he refused to prosecute are now calling on blacks to kill white babies and people at the RNC convention. They want blood in the streets. I truly think we need to prosecute the SPLC for inciting this violence.
Well this pretty much assures that he won't be prosecuted by Holder's "justice" department.
Let me guess the shooter was wearing a Obama T-shirt or something like that, that is why we haven’t seen any pictures of the shooter.
they labeled it “domestic terrorism” so they can cover it up.
I thought it was the end of the beginning.
Or perhaps it is just the middle of the middle?
This is a political shooting, not a shooting of random people by an unhinged person.
This shooter is probably unhinged as well, but he was directed to the target by the drumbeat from the “gay” community that the eeeeevil FRC was a receiver of money from Chick-fil-a.
These Humanist’s are in fact dangerous, when their heads explode. Many of them can’t handle ANY conflicting facts, and if their world view is under threat, they will lash out.
I’ve always enjoyed getting them to say that “There is no truth”, I, of course reply with “Is that true ?”
I think most are simply misguided. They don’t know the evil roots of their philosophy, and somehow find a small “safe place” where they feel the can belong.
You are correct with regards to the Christ Vs. Anti-Christ position.
Their Christ will be our anti-Christ, and given how institutionalized Satan has become, I’m afraid the logical extension of our current trajectory is inevitable.
I agree.
Don’t forget the VA Tech dry run and the Ohio thing/bridge, etc.
Not surprised....we’ll see this more and more and more.
Our decent into armed Fiefdoms is coming quicker than I thought, though of course a few incidents don’t show a tidal wave just yet.
Heavily armed “loyal men” will be needed everywhere for even basic safety.
This is the very slow start.... 10 years... I pray we don’t have a flood.
I don't get that at all. Can anyone explain this connection, which appeared the same in the Sikh tragedy?
Ever considered that they may be paid agents of the left, or one of the campaigns, even? Do I need to say which one?

This photo is alleged to be Floyd Corkins of Herndon, VA, according to this post on Pundit Press: Who is Floyd Corkins?
I agree. When O loses, he and his group are going to seek revenge. That is my prediction for post election. These are mean people
Peter Parker did the same thing in the new Spider-Man movie to sneak into a research facility.
As they should. If nothing else - it's definitely a hate crime.
Someone kick his butt so hard he almost lost his britches?! /s That is not a pretty sight!
NBC and ABC7 identified him as 28-year-old Floyd Corkins of Virginia. Fox News obtained photos of the man, apparently taken by a witness, that show the suspect in handcuffs and his bloody shirt fully unbuttoned.
The Associated Press reports that according to DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier, a man, later identified as Floyd Corkins, of Herndon, Va., walked into the Family Research Council and was confronted by a security guard. He then shot the guard.
AP reports the guard and others wrestled the man to the ground before FBI agents took him into custody.
According to Ryan Reilly of TPM, Corkins is not registered to vote in Virginia.
What do his fb and mylife pages say? (for those of us who don’t do Facebook)
