They (and other Conservative groups) should be all the more aware that there are those out there who will do them harm as well.

I think people are having an epiphany similar to airline passengers.

Just as airline passengers realize they can't let the control of the plane change hands, people realize you have to disarm or otherwise stop the nut.

Let a nutcase run loose on your turf with a firearm and you might only be the first to die.

Security people should be especially aware, and the guard did a tremendous job.
