Just did a google search for “Paul Ryan” and “Thursday” and it popped up.
I am in CA as well. Unless this really turns into a wave election, we will only see either candidate here as part of fund raising expeditions. Our state is just too blue to merit their attention. If we do start to see commercials or campaign appearances here, it will be a very good sign.
