But the reality is that drugs have been legalized in other places and what you feared simply did NOT happen.
The drug problems in Mexico is OUR FAULT. We have the demand and the drug cartels have the supply. A *huge* part of the illegal border crossings are drug related.
The WOD is causing nothing but destruction. We’d be better off if we legalized drugs, then spent a fraction of that money on education and rehabilitation.
Europe for thousands of years, while having it available, refused to adopt Cannabis as an intoxicant, and it shows when compared with the regions that preferred it.
While you know nothing about pot growing and taxes, you also don't seem to have seen the drug world of the 1960s and watched as people literally changed over night, in fact, the instant change of a person when they become a pot user, is a well known cookie cutter, mind meld, phenomenon, that we have all observed.
