Sheriff Sniff and Sheriff Bosenko recently took a public stand and made their opposition to SB 249 known to the legislature. Copies of their letters of opposition are included in this alert.
It takes courage as an elected official to publicly express support for our Second Amendment rights in California. These individuals deserve our gratitude and need to know that CRPA members appreciate their efforts to help defeat SB 249.
Please take time to write or e-mail Sheriff Bosenko and Sheriff Sniff and express your THANKS for their help in the fight against SB 249.
SB 249 is set for hearing tomorrow, August 16, in the Assembly Appropriations Committee. With your help and the help of law enforcement officials like Sheriff Sniff and Sheriff Bosenko, CRPA and NRA are continuing to fight hard to defeat SB 249.
There may be other law enforcement officials that have submitted letters opposing SB 249 that we have not yet received as of this alert date, but we will acknowledge them as they are received.
