Your Zot cartoon is a good one Kent, but there is actually an even older use of “Zot!”

In the original Underdog cartoon series circa 1964 (with Underdog voiced by one of my all-time favorites, Wally Cox) the first season featured a four part serial entitled Zot!

Zot was both a planet inhabited by a race governed by King Klobber who either “zots” people by punching them or by dropping an enormous weight on their heads (The Great Zot.)

I have been trying, so far unsuccessfully, to find a suitable graphic that illustrates The Great Zot!

When I do, y’all will be the first to know.
