Here is a case in point:
The false politicization of the Family Research Council shooting
Several reasons.
(1) Media bias. Liberal rhetoric can’t be responsible because liberals are kind and tolerant. Blah, blah. The media ain’t what it used to be, though.
(2) Conservatives are good and reasonable people. We wouldn’t blame conservative rhetoric if a conservative went-off, so we don’t blame liberal rhetoric if a liberal goes off. Liberals are not quite so good or sensible ... they demagogue and blame conservative rhetoric even if the shooter clearly wasn’t conservative, or even if they’re just making wild-ass guesses.
(3) Guns. Liberals always blame guns. We always blame the shooter. They aim for political points ... we aim for justice.
(4) To be honest, the shooter sucked. Armed to the teeth — he got off one shot, wounded a guy, and got his ass whipped. Thank God he was so incompetent ... but if he hadn’t been, I think he’d get a bit more attention.

The news media is a wholly-controlled arm of the RATS. That’s why.
The media yawns and if it bothers to report the incident, downplays it or, as in the Baltimore Sun, uses the incident to ostentatiously question the 'validity' of the Family Research Councils opposition to same-sex 'marriage'. It is no longer remotely debatable that not only are the media in bed with leftists but act as their propagandists, rendering them as useless as a source for any information beyond the most superficial.
