The amazing success of Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day back on August 1, 2012 shows that if the Democratic National Convention includes support for same-sex marriage on the party plank, it could have a HUGE negative effect on Obama's presidential re-election chances. That could result in almost every state except the US Northeast and US West Coast supporting Obama in the Electoral College.

Think what you want but the fact is, "same sex marriage" ballot issues have overwhelmingly lost everytime and everyway it's been tried in California.
