He’s not going to defy the Republicans on social issues. He would pay too much of a political cost

In other games it’s callled a tell. We pretty much know where Romneey stands. After he refused to comment on the Chik-Fil-A turnout, he pretty much solidified his base. They are called squishy republicans, will democrats still like me?

What would the gop have to do make you NOT vote for them?

You seem to be equating ‘trusting God to do it His way’ with ‘voting for Romney against one’s wishes’.

Yeeeeee-----ow!

That nailed it. I trust the nose God gave me more than I trust Rush or Levin or Palin or the GOP. Romney stinks, which means he's rotten and nasty. His record illustrates a political career of advancing horrifically stupid and depraved things, embracing the global warming agenda, and he was the real author of ObamaCare.

What in hell are people thinking, voting for him? What on earth do they think they're going to get? They're in the grips of the affliction ABO. I hope it lifts off of them before November and helps them see to a more meaningful vote.

It would be an interesting question if the alternative weren’t an America-hating Marxist.

You still didn’t answer the question. What would it take for the GOP to do before you stopped supporting them?

For one thing, Romney is far from being the boat that can rescue anyone from raging flood water.

By this you demonstrate your bias is more important than intelligence. There's billions of dollars that have been sitting on the sidelines awaiting a new president and a clear direction in the national economy. Once Romney (or any Republican - it didn't have to be Romney) takes office, America is going to be awash in new investments and those investments will mean more jobs and more jobs will mean more revenue and more revenue will mean the end of this nightmare recession.

Say what you want about Romney's stances on social issues but he is smart enough to let the capitalist system work to bring America back - something Obama will never allow to happen.

But because you're blinded by Romney's social liberalism you refuse to see how he will get America back to work so we can avoid being a future Greece.

Half a loaf is better than none and that's what I expect with Romney - at worst. At best, he'll surprise us and be a Republican not that much different than the Bushes. Again, that's far from everything I want but it's light years better than what we would get with four more years of Obama.

Or do you think Ryan joined the ticket with no thought of what it does to his promising future if he is chained at the neck to Romney the way Palin is chained at the neck to McCain? Ryan is a smart cookie. He wouldn't have signed on if he didn't think Romney would heal America economically.

So you’re going let Obama have a second term because of Romney’s Chic-fil-A comment.

That’s real smart and stuff.

The problem with your position is that you overstate Romney’s negatives while completely ignoring Obama’s.

I think most of us know Obamas negatives? Do you not? ABO is stupid, or nevermind can I sell you a car?

I trust the nose God gave me...

Is this the same nose that lead you to believe that the jet contrail off the coast near L.A. a few months back was actually an ICBM launch?

How is it possible to overstate blatant lies, deceit, murder of the innocent unborn and corruption?

Both men are guilty as Hell of each listed offense, several times over.

This election offers many of us no real choice. You go ahead and vote for Romney, and pray you made the right choice. As your neighbor in Mississippi, I will not vote for Romney, but I'll vote TEA Party conservative where ever possible up and down my ballot and otherwise plain ole conservative.

In God I trust, and I faithfully believe, that somehow, some way, He will help us save our Republic.

This is no time to surrender. Nothing yet is set in cement. Keep praying.

ok, so we have never been a more pro life country, but doesn’t matter to the ABO crowd. How about, we don’t cotton (yes I’m from Texas) to the gay nazi group. I think we already have our answer there. Romney refuses to get on board with both. ???????? What are we left with?

No I don’t. We all know without a doubt that Obama is a big government Marxist. Always has been always will be. And we all knew before the RINO whitewashing began that Romney is a big government statist. Always has been, always will be. Their records are almost identical on abortion, homosexualism, gun-grabbing, liberal judges, big government socialized health care, mandates against individuals, raising taxes and fees opposed to cutting government, gays in the military, global warming, TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending, etc. Only Romney made greater strides on tax payer funded abortion, homosexual marriage and socialized medicine than Obama and all the democrats and commies before him.

But NONE of it is their fault! Someone else did that.

So your biggest buggaboo to shake in front of me in order to frighten me into voting for a liberal, is the spectre of Obama using the military to clamp down, Hitler-like, on free Americans.

You're forgetting that Americans are not Germans. Things can turn on a dime, so fast -- I believe that key elements in the U.S. military would rebuff Obama, and furthermore, I thnk they already have.

If we're that close, how is voting for the path of least resistance, slipping into a milder, cleaner version of the same authoritarianism, anything but destructive? All it would do would be to make the next "Obama" make the real Obama look like Dwight Eisenhower. Haven't you noticed that following every "moderate" Republican comes an ever shocking parade of nightmares? Here in California it progressed from Gray Davis, so terrible he was recalled, to Schwarzenegger to ... Jerry Brown, for crying out loud! Ol' Moonbeam Brown! Who's next???

So we've seen Carter, Clinton, then my God, Hillary -- anybody but Hillary! shriek shriek ... and then Obama because we got anybody but Hillary ... now desperate wailing of "Anybody but Obama!"

Time to face the music. Either one, Romney or Obama, is a bad choice. What to do?

Romney isn’t going to appoint liberal judges like he had to when he was governor of a blue state with a blue legislature.

And you think that because ....?

Because he's going to be held in check by certain political realities that we should all be aware of. And because, as I have said, electing Romney isn't just electing Romney. There is an entire "establishment in waiting" that will come in with Romney, and lots of its members are going to be working behind the scenes to advance our causes. This is all elementary stuff. I know you know this. These are the reasons why Romney is a real choice. It is simply false to say that Romney equals Obama.

Mass murder is mass murder whether done by a Dem (Obama) or a Rep (Romney). I will not vote for a mass murderer!! And no one made Romney push for legalized abortion and or to advocate for supporting and sustaining Roe v Wade as settled law. He did that all by his lonesome.

Because he will be under political pressure to appoint conservative judges, not liberal judges. This is basic. Are you telling me you don’t understand this?

Save it. Look at Romney’s record, and just ... save it. He’s an agent of all the same things Obama is. Look up.

He was governor of a blue state. Not just a blue state but one of the bluest states, with a deep blue legislature and a deep blue electorate. I don’t know why this doesn’t factor into your reasoning about Romney.
