The conservative grassroots are slowly winning the abortion and gun rights issues from the bottom up, independently of who happens to be president. The best way for the libs to stop this progress is by stacking the federal judiciary at all levels against us, and by thwarting us with all the regulatory and behind-the-scenes bureacratic means that come with owning the executive branch. The perfect way to help them do this is to let Obama have a second term. Why should we enable them? How is this principled?
Romney is somewhere between an opportunist and a squish on social issues. But he’s not a committed ideologue like Obama. Furthermore, electing Romney isn’t just electing Romney. You’re electing a whole bureacracy that comes to power with him, and it’s going to be full of good pro-life and pro-gun people who will work behind the scenes to help our side. But this will not happen if we help Obama weasel his way into a second term.

You lie.
Like they've always been hovering around Romney, right?
*rolls eyes*
Hello? He's a friggin' liberal. He's never had that kind of bureacracy and never will because he's a statist liberal. Look at his record.
You don't get to vote "against" in the real world. You only get to vote FOR. Voting for Romney isn't voting "against" Obama, it's voting FOR more liberalism whether you mean to or not. Voting "against" is all pretend. You can only vote "for."
I'm voting for a plurality.
