You seriously think he’s going to be some kind of Manchurian candidate who totally defies the Republicans on judicial appointments? That just is not realistic.
I say he hasn’t budged an inch. He’s got conservative aides telling him what to say, but even so he sometimes reverts back to the only thing he knows. Statism. He still brags about RomneyCare. He still pushes Keynesian economics (TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending, etc). He thinks these things are good and necessary. Doesn’t faze him that they’re unconstitutional. He still favors gays in the scouts, gays in the military, gay adoption. He still worries about global warming. Still wants to give the illegals amnesty. He’s still a liberal progressive. And he’s still a bald-faced liar.
