Tea Party freshman, Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) is also a Tea Party favorite because of his visible disdain for political correctness. Unfortunately for Walsh, when congressional districts were re-drawn last year, his battle for reelection became almost instantly more difficult. Despite this, Walsh is refusing to mince his words.
In this latest example, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an alleged Muslim Brotherhood front in America, wants Walsh to apologize for making comments about the threat of radical Islamists in this country. In the video below, Walsh calls out CAIR and points out that his Democratic opponent Tammy Duckworth is siding with CAIR on this issue.
Duckworth, a wounded Iraq war veteran, has the backing of Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, who recently named CAIR Chicagos Executive Director Ahmed Rehab to an advisory committee.
Incidentally, Duckworth served in the Rod Blagojevich administration and was considered by then Governor Blago as a possible candidate to fill Barack Obamas Senate seat after the 2008 election.
Here is Walshs response to CAIRs demand for an apology:
Sounds as though it’s time to start a new tradition on your street - Friday night pig roasts.
you say: “Walsh will apologize. They always do.”
NOt all of ‘they’

They demanded he appologize - he said hell no
and they have left him alone since becaue they know he knows Islam backwards and forewards -
No problem. That is based on your experience, which I hope has been personal and firsthand, as mine has been.
But I have made real friends among their number, and if there are not many, I'd note that there are many of my own countrymen I cannot trust either. You are correct, however in that treachery and betrayal is noted as a talent to be encouraged by many in that part of the world. And in this part as well.
That's one approach. Others may be more sporting.
BTTT
LOL!!
