The SPLC does some good research on the extreme Right but it deliberately turns a blind eye to the extreme Left. Ever see anything about Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, The New Black Pathetic Panther Party, the CPUSA, Democratic Socialists of America, Van Jones and STORM, Bill Ayers?

Nah, not a chance. There is not threat from the Left (old Moscow line).

SPLC’s hypocrisy confirmed. They implied Jared Loughner’s (the guy who shot Giffords) actions could be blamed on the right as he may have been motivated by “right wing rhetoric” - including by the very same person who wrote this article lambasting the FRC for claiming the rhetoric against them from the SPLC was a factor:
