My take...

She hates Obama.

She wants to run in 2016.

If she were on the ticket this time and win, she would have to defend everything Obama did in 2016.

If she were on the ticket with Obama and lose, she will be blamed and be out of the running altogether in 2016.

I have a feeling she’s going to spend the next three months doing her Secretary of State job somewhere else in the world.

• She hates 0bama for all the dirty tricks in 2008, and VP has no upside for her, unless she fears turning him down will hurt her with the rest of the Party for 2016. (It won't)
• Bill hates 0bama and has tried to undermine him constantly, as have the Clinton minions, flunkies and stooges.
• 0 does not want the Clintons around.
• His ego would never allow him to admit he needs to put Hillary on the ticket.
• Michelle hates the Clintons.
• He has twenty days left to legally replace Biden according to some lawyers who've looked at this; his numbers are falling but won't crater fast enough for him to swallow a pill this bitter.
• After the convention, pulling Plugs make it look like an "Eagleton."
