Two of the suspects were injured when they were arrested.

When offered resistance rewarded with a sidewalk sandwich.

Oh well.

One officer would have been 26 this week and left a wife and I believe 2 children behind. One was in his 40’s and left a wife and 5 children behind. Those disgusting low life scum need to be brought to justice and given maximum judgment. But, nothing can bring back two young husbands and fathers. Tragic!

Perp pics here.

Interesting snippet from the article:

"Edmonson also said they were communicating with state and federal law enforcement agencies about the suspects' backgrounds. He said he could not confirm if one of the suspects was part of a federally-watched anarchist group..."

Law enforcement would not go into detail about the suspects' criminal backgrounds or their injuries. Police also would not disclose any other details about the shooting

So what's the over/under on the perps' genetic makeup?

Hey, it’s Louisiana fellas. I predict they will have an interesting future. I am so furious about this horrible crime I can hardly stand it. Two young families destroyed by some low life thugs who I most probably support with my tax dollars.

Thanks for posting the photo line-up of the perps. They remind me, in some ways, of the anarchist types I’d run into from time-to-time when I live around Portland and Eugene, Oregon.

Usually P.O.’d about some perceived injustice or another.

If two officers were killed, why only “attempted” first-degree murder? Hopefully it’s only until they investigate further and determine who did what when and which of the five pulled the trigger(s)??

The charge of “principal to attempted first degree murder “ is one I’m not familiar with.....obviously, it’s Louisiana state law. What exactly does it mean?

Based on the names it looks like one of the dead officers and one of the wounded officers were brothers.
