Atlanta Symphony musicians ask administration to share in salary cuts

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians have offered to cut their compensation by 11 percent to help balance the organization’s annual budget, but there is a catch: They want the ASO leadership and staff to take an equal cut.

Things are tough all over - so asking the ASO leadership to undergo the same cuts the musicians must looks pretty fair to me.

The problem is too few have the bucks to go pay to listen to them - it's tough all the way around. The question is, have they tried dropping the price to listen a bit - or not.
