“But that one time she was absolutely correct!”
She was. That was quite a column. Right from the gut.
It always reminded me of a line of poetry by Garcia-Lorca that my mother used to quote. In English, I don’t know what it was in Spanish (of course my mom did).

Well, we sure didn’t listen and now there is going to be hell to pay.
Nobody is admitting this yet. The Egyptian situation is a complete disaster, it hasn’t even really started to get bad, really, yet.
I don’t know what the Israelis must be thinking. (Probably thinking they’ve been idiots, that’s what I’d be thinking if I were them, but what THEY could have done differently I don’t know.)
I’m pretty sure the MSM would be having a field day blaming Bush if McCain were pres. today, but of course it’s their man in charge, so they just have to shut up.
Quite honestly I think folks on both left & right are so dismayed at the way things are going they are just trying to overlook it.

Very disappointing to find out that the love of freedom DOES NOT live in every soul.
The PLO took over like the Mafia and either terrorized into submission or killed and Palestinian who was in the least way willing to live in peace with Israel. They then proceeded to loot everything in sight and steal as much of the foreign aid money sent to Palestine as they could get their hands on.
What assets they did not steal they used to arm the population, start paramilitary training in anticipation of starting a war against Israel and taught hate and violence to the 20 years of school children.
The Clinton's made a huge mistake when they allowed their romantic revolutionary hero worship of Arafat and his PLO thugs to allow them to insist that the Israelis deal only with Arafat and the PLO as their peace partner
