We're seeing played out before our very eyes the difference between the Founders' idea of "People"-over-government, always under a respect for Creator-endowed life, rights and laws to protect them, versus the so-called "progressives'" counterfeit idea of government-over-people, where imperfect individuals in government view themselves as capable grantors and decision-makers about rights (including determination of rights to life and liberty).
