Let’s do the math. You quote me in my response 144.
You say heal thyself, apparently hoping that no one will pay attention to your 141.

“With all due respect, I think that’s a cowardly question.”
Hmmmm, a cowardly question.

Think really hard. Does 141 come before or after 144? Maybe you need help with that. Call a lifeline. (I am playing the Jeopardy theme and waiting. But I’ll quote Adlai Stevenson during the Cuban Missile Crisis -— “I am prepared to wait for my answer until Hell freezes over.”)

For those who missed part of the discussion, I am prepared to fight Romney tooth and nail over his very liberal and distasteful social positions. I would rather fight him in office than fight a Marxist who believes that the ends justify the means. We have only seen a teaser of what Obama is capable of doing and willing to do as he carries through DREAMS FROM MY FATHER. If necessary, he will suspend the Constitution and declare martial law. He has no rules of fair play. Jimmy Carter was inept and foolish but I believe he actually did believe in the Constitution and loved his country. Obama has shown us that he loathes this country.

Then why the hell hasn't he done it already?

Romney's record exhibits another who believes that the ends justify the means.

I think you'd LOSE that tooth-and-nail fight with Romney, and I think you'd lose it spectacularly if Romney and his moderate allies were able to claim a "popular mandate" if he won on a landslide.

Had to call it a night last night, dfu, as duty called this morning. Your question about Ayers and Wright was the equivalent of asking "if the backup cook is so evil as to urinate in the gravy, would you still want the lead cook fired for spitting in it?" That's the kind of question a manager would ask who's too timid to do the firing. Yes, it's a cowardly question, and I'll stand by that. But, for the record, I did not call you a coward; in fact, I offered you "all due respect". As it was your question, you may not have analyzed it from a third person perspective and seen how ridiculous it is. I answered honestly and courageously : to wit, I want both cooks out on their ears and nothing less is good enough because neither one is worthy of representing the restaurant. I wouldn't lift a finger to save either of their jobs, and would in fact do everything I can to have them both sacked. In the case of this election, that means to me voting third party. I have no doubt if Romney gets elected you'll work against his liberal agenda to the best of your ability. We all will. But the point of an election is not to install a man to represent you that you have to work against. I've done the fact checking and found Virgil Goode represents me reasonably well. He's an easy choice for me and Romney can't hold a candle to him. Will he win in 2012? No. But then John Fremont did not win in 1856 either, but look what he started. At some point we have to take a leap of faith.
