Pelosi: Unlike Current GOP House’s ‘Obstruction’, My Congress Cooperated With President Bush
During Friday evening’s edition of Late Night, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told host Jimmy Fallon that unlike this current Republican-controlled Congress, which she views as having a “philosophy” of “obstruction,” her time as Speaker of the House was marked by her cooperation with President George W. Bush.
“This obstruction of the president is something quite new,” Pelosi said to Fallon. She lamented that, in her view, Congress isn’t as “civil” as it used to be: “There was much more civility, and you came to get a job done. Certainly, you advocated for your point of view, but you always strove to find common ground. And i think we have to return to that place.”
Pelosi then took shots at the John Boehner-led Republican House: “The president has tried to cooperate with the Republican majority led by Speaker Boehner, they really have not cooperated with him. That obstruction has really been their philosophy.”

Lying means nothing to these asshats.
She just lets her fellow travelers know how good it is to be nice when she is in charge. The lady is a no class bureaucrat that steals money to make her feel important.
That’s the truth.
I’m cynical enough to think most, if not all politicians lie.
But this particular bunch have raised lying to a new level.
I guess there’s the politicians dilemma of trying to please all people, than there’s the case of the lying scumbags that hate Conservatives.
It’s amazing Schieffer brought up the hypocrisy of Ms. Pelosi and her party.
In 2007, she and a gaggle of her fellow House Democrats went on their own foreign policy mission to Syria and other places. Here is a direct quote from her on her meeting with Syria's gentle leader; “We were very pleased with the assurances we received from the president that he was ready to resume the peace process. He’s ready to engage in negotiations for peace with Israel”.
Haven't heard much from SanFranNan about Assad lately, have we? By all evidence, he wasn't for peace negotiations then, now or even peace with his own people! Well Nancy, how is your memory here?
Exactly correct. They see no evil in lying. They lie to themselves constantly. They do not even believe that truth exists.
The only thing that exists for them is the desire for power. Being able to control others is what gives them a little respite from the emptiness of their lives.
