Ha, funny imagery!
This Campus Pride is trying to get all liberal colleges to oust Chick-Fil-A.
From the piece:
“Dan Cathy, president of Chick-fil-A, is in for a shock when thousands of college students go back to school this month. His anti-gay remarks, coupled with Chick-fil-A’s secretive donations to anti-gay organizations and a documented hate group for nearly a decade (to the accumulated sum of $5 million), add fuel to an already burning fire.
As the executive director of Campus Pride, the leading national organization for LGBT students and campus groups, I have heard complaints about Chick-fil-A for years now. The company’s presence and noncompliance with LGBT-inclusive policies on college campuses has been the subject of petitions and protests for as long as I can remember. The truth is finally out, and campuses are starting to take action.”

Huh. Probably not TOO secretive then, right, Mary?
What a pantload. Who has ever heard of such protests before? The company has repeatedly said it does not discriminate in hiring or serving customers. If you're leftist and your lips are moving, you're lying.
This is a prime example of the moving goal post pressure group. In the old days, I was all for tolerance of "alternative life-styles". Then came AIDS and Hepatitis and some of these "alternative life-styles" claimed it to be a civil right to donate blood?! I thought they were insane!
Now we see a campaign that baldly states that unless you actively work for LGBT policies, you should be shut down. There is obviously no evidence that Chik-Fil-A, as a company, has discriminated against employee or customers (believe me these "alternative life-styles" are searching!) Yet, because the owner believes in traditional marriage, his company is to be destroyed. Words fail!

The award Cathy received gives him another opportunity to support some of his favorite charities. While Cathy is known for awarding $1,000 scholarships to Chick-fil-A employees $24 million so far he also established WinShape Foundation, which seeks to foster winning leadership qualities in young people. He also has built 12 WinShape foster homes that provide quality care for children. Chick-fil-A has donated $100 million to foster care, marriage enrichment, and camp retreats.
Cathy will donate his winnings to two Union City organizations: Christian City, a foster care facility, and Southwest Christian Care, an organization that provides respite care.”
And yet the left hates this guy.
Anti-gay? How about pro-normal remarks? I love these campuses where tolerance and diversity are the norm.
Luckily, they have determined the correct opinions and now everyone has them - Oh joy, rapture.
