Someone on NPR this morning was insisting that Romney has to be asked about his Mormon faith at one of this year’s 4 presidential debates.

ONLY if Obama is asked if he believes that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and has since walked among men. That is IF we are going to pose a “Christian litmus test” to the candidates during the debates.

Bump. Let them go there. Every question they throw at Romney, let the Republican side throw at Barky Obozo.

"Are you now, or have you ever been, a confessed Moslem? Are you now, or have you ever been, practicing taqiyya to advance the Moslem faith among its intended victims?" Then ask your question, and then ask him why he told the foreign minister of Egypt in 2009 that "I am a Moslem". Why he recited the Azaan, the call to prayer, in Arabic, in full, which contains in its verses the Shehada, the Moslem profession of faith, the recital of which in public makes a man a Moslem in the eyes of the Umma. And why he did it in an interview in 2007 with Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times, whom he knew to have a readership on seven continents.

If he is a "Christian" (scare quotes appropriate in view of the history of "black liberation theology"), then why did he confess Islam to Kristof in 2007 and again in Egypt in 2009, and arguably yet again in an interview with George Stephanopoulos? That's thrice -- which readers of the Christian Bible might find resonant with the Good Friday predawn denials of Simon Peter.
